Average
Don't take the class if English speaking isn't your strong suit. More than 60% of the grade is on how you read the book and review. The tests are full of chapters, and when you review them spend time, because he doesn't explain a lot.
Awesome
Currently I am in Professor Bastani's class and I got the highest score on the first test. Following the curve, I have 105%. If you already have some knowledge of economics and you take good notes, pay attention in class, and make sure you understand what he does on the board, then you will be fine. I haven't even read the textbook or studied that much.
Good
Prof. Bastani is extremely hard, but will give lots of extra credit. Not accessible by email or through canvas. You have to take very specific notes during class and read the study guide.
Good
Honestly if you need an easy A professor Bastani is a great choice. The class is structured where you can get 5% added to your grade for attendance and 2% for participation meaning you can earn 107% in the class. Additionally, the tests are straight out of the textbook and are very straight forward.
