Awesome
She is a great professor. Love her! She cares that we learn and is interested in our success. Only trouble is that her tests are long (80 to 90 question) plus 4 non-cumulative test. Hard but if you read the textbook and go to class you'll be fine.
Awesome
Dr. McGillivray is an amazing professor. She does adn excellent job at simplifying hard and complicated concepts. There will be a group project, but it is fun! After there will be an APA paper on what you did, etc. She gives great feedback on the paper and is always there in case you need help.
Awful
Professor McGillivray is super uptight about her numbers and she docks really hard on the tests. Do not take this class from her.
Awful
Avoid her at all costs, just take somebody else. Awful lecturer, Youtube did more as a professor than she did. Every other professor is terrific, I just don't understand how she could end up so far down on the list.
Awful
Professor McGillivray's homework was very easy. However, she's not good at giving tests. Her tests take like two hours to finish. She will deduct points for every little thing. Also, her tests were nothing compared to her lectures. I suggest that you take this class online from Professor Smith.
Awesome
Ms. McGillivray is a great professor, supportive, encouraging and wants everyone to succeed. This rating is coming from part one of two in this course. Her exams take 4 to 7 hours and consists of 70 questions. Assignments are based off of completion. However, she will correct your mistakes. If ever you get lost, just ask for clarification. Also her class is only 2 hours.
Awesome
Professor McGillivray involved me in this class, not just to learn about it. Her teaching is concise, with great participation in class. Also, the exams were long, but not bad though. I have now enrolled in child and abnormal psychology because it is so fascinating. She discusses sensitive topics with great finesse and is knowledgeable. Overall, she's one of the best at Weber State University.
Awesome
Professor McGillivray is very funny. She gives the best talks. She really cares about her students. She makes you feel safe even when she talks about controversial topics in psychology. She will send you a message as soon as possible if you text her. I could go on, but overall, if you have the opportunity to take her class, do it, you won't regret it. She's the best professor ever.
