Prof. Shankari is an amazing teacher! I had her last sem for BIOL 2273 and I'm currently taking her again for 2274. Material covered in this class was challenging which is why many people say that she's a tough prof. However, she explains everything really well. There's honestly no reason you shouldn't make an A if you are always in class and paying attention!

A great teacher who was very helpful during office hours. Attendance matters so show up to class, there is no reason why you should not pass if you pay attention to the lecture . The concepts aren't too difficult, an easy A, just study hard before the tests because it's a handful of material.

Be ready to come to class, and participate. Somayaji puts specific things in application questions so you know them. Practice quizzes, processes and steps, if you want an A on the test. Each test has 40 questions, you will get a B or less, if you miss more than 4 questions. Her final is cumulative, so study all of your previous tests.
