Chief People Officer
Responsible for executive leadership of all people related aspects of the business. Officer of the company. Member of the executive team. Provided hands-on leadership and guidance for the Human Resource function of the company. Conducted due diligences, acquisition, sale of a foreign division, and the sale of the company to a publicly traded company.
VP, Human Resources
Responsible for Human Resource support for approximately 10,000 person organization including engineering, manufacturing, and sales. Special projects included a divestiture, the spin-off of Avaya, and serving as the interim Human Resource leader for a 35,000 person business unit where I collaboratively developed a new Human Resource organization that reduced the budget from $12M to $9.5M.
Chief Diversity Officer
Campus Chief Diversity Officer - work closely with the President and cabinet members as well as the remainder of the campus constituents to develop strategy and operational plans to create a welcoming diverse and inclusive culture.
Co-Chair of Strategic Planning process that created a new campus vision, mission, values and new strategic plan. Worked closely with the President to lead a broad-based inclusive process across the entire campus to deliver a finished product ratified and supported by all constituencies.
Professor teaching Business Principles, Entrepreneurship, Ethics, International Business, Leadership, Management, Management Communication, and Strategy in the Business School. Teach traditional, distance, and accelerated courses.

President of entrepreneurial firm that established three small businesses. Developed all businesses into growing prosperous companies filling the General Manager role. Sold the last business 1/1/18: Upstate Professional Cleaning provided commercial and residential cleaning services. PuroClean Services and B.E.S.T. which were involved in property damage restoration for water, fire, smoke and mold damage.

Formed the C corp and purchased an existing company. Redefined the thrust of the business. Currently act as member of the board, provide executive oversight, and serve as the Treasurer of the hydroponic farm and specialty produce distributor.
Elected to the school board by the community to a five year term as the top vote recipient among three candidates. Have served on the finance, transportation, and the policy committee as well as the vision/mission/values task force. We have established budget setting methodologies that use the Vision, Mission, and Values to guide expenditure decisions.
