Awful
Professor Thompson's reading notes and specifics of the midterm and final were great but he is no good at actual teaching. There is no detailed criteria for the assignment (report) so you don't really have anything to go on, and he clearly expected more by his comments after. He is a tough grader and not a good lecturer. I would not recommend him.
