I took professor Perkins for Intermediate Algebra because I failed PERT by 2 points. So as a result, the class was a bit boring (just a repeat of Algebra II). However, he's got energy, he's a caring guy, and tries his best to make sure you understand.

So far, Prof. Perkins is one of the most caring professors in PSC. I suck at math but he made it easy for me to understand. He really cares about his students and is very willing to help them. You will pass as long as you show up in class and do the homework. He's nice and funny as week. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have passed math. I recommend taking him because he's the best math professor out there!

My last professor for Math1033 was the worst that I've ever had. He doesn't care for us. However, Professor Perkins is understanding. He will help you make sure you'll pass the class. He cares about everybody. He helped me a lot when I was struggling in class. Overall, he's the best professor for Math that I've ever had.

I took subjects in math, which was a pretty easy lesson, considering that I'm very bad at math and don't like the subject. I still had to study and practice before the tests, but that allowed me to get an A in class. And all of this is because Professor Perkins is trustworthy, considerate, and caring.

Professor Perkins is hilarious. His lectures were absolutely helpful. His class consists of six tests in total. And as long as you study for each of them you will pass.

Poor

The only problem I had with Professor Perkins' class is that the exams are worth 60% of your grade. There were six exams and a final. Your lowest grade will be dropped though, which is a bonus. The laboratory is worth 15% and the final is worth 25%. I finished the class with an overall C of 78 which was not rounded off. If you're not good at exams, you'll fail his class.

Professor Perkins was great. He kept me updated every week on assignments and deadlines that needed to be done. Assignments are given on Mylab Math. Each section had a descriptive video to help the student visually examine the lecture. Examination in class is very often like every couple of weeks. And those make up the majority of your grade. Grades are very minimum though.
