Poor
If you take the online class you will not get any lecture notes or power points. You must read two chapters a week. You must do the Friday homework assignment which is due either Sat/Sun. Only a few class assignments. An easy A.
Good
Prof. Schorsch's class was very easy! He gives clear expectations. I suggest you read the syllabus and assignment prompts carefully and thoroughly. You'll be fine as long as you do what he asks in the prompts. I feel like he goes above and beyond with posting weekly announcements and emails.
Average
Prof. Schorsh's class was very easy! Always keep track of the announcement and use the samples that he provides! These are actually the key to doing well on assignments. Every time he posts an announcement, he emails us as well. He's pretty organized!
Awful
Professor Kaffenberger's teaching was really disconnected and unorganized, even before the pandemic. It shows that he lacks interest in what he's doing. He's always behind in giving grades and forgets to post assignments. In short, he doesn't communicate with students and assigns extra credit that is twice as much work as a normal homework, for lesser points. What a terrible professor he is.
Awesome
Professor Kaffenberger's History 115 course proved to be remarkably straightforward. The class was well-structured, with clear expectations for submitting work on designated days. He maintained regular communication through reminders and emails, fostering a sense of accountability among students. His approach appeared to require a certain level of discipline from the students. The assignments were manageable, with clearly outlined expectations and a relatively light workload.
