Professor McNamara's lectures were pretty interesting and I do feel that I learned a lot. Her test were a bit difficult for an introduction level course. She only based her grades on four things. Those are two critical film essays and two exams. However, she does make her expectations very clear and often gave extra credits.

Dr. McNamara is very knowledgeable. However, if you take her the prepared for only two tests which require thoroughly knowing TONS of terms and information. There is a lot of writing in this class. In my opinion, the class overall is a little much for an undergraduate level for an introduction history course.
