This class is supposed to be sociology of community but I didn't learn anything about that. I learned about the sociology of food. She changed the course she was teaching to fit her project about food scarcity, which I don't think is fair to the students. The class criteria is also confusing, however she is a very fair grader. You will do fine as long as you put in the effort.

Prof. Gatson was amazing! She is friendly and willing to work with you. You'll have ten projects, four discussion posts, four PowerPoint slides, and two articles to complete (no tests!). This class comes highly recommended because the content is engaging and the material is easily manageable.
