Awful

Prof. Magrin doesn't seem to put effort into her class. She gives nothing but three papers that she doesn't even grade herself. She also simply rants during lectures. If you want free credit, I would suggest taking this though. I got an A- even though I rarely show up in class and I just sat there in the required discussion. I only spent an hour for papers and studied 30 minutes for final as well.

Average

The lectures weren't mandatory, the readings weren't too long, the GSIs were cool, and the final was easy, and you were given a list of 15 philosophers and you had to name 10 and the concepts taught. The concepts were pretty difficult though, and you do need to go to the office hours to do well on anything.
