Primary Function:
1. Plan with the Buhl Library Director the activities and direction of the Curriculum Library to meet the needs of students and faculty and enhance the mission of the College
2. Collection Development: Maintain a relevant collection of material consistent with the instructional methods and needs of the Education Department Faculty and students. This includes theory, curriculum and literature books as well as education related equipment.
3. Serve as a resource partner for the faculty, student teachers, and other education students.
4. Assume responsibility for scheduling and supervising the Curriculum Library student staff for the designated hours set by the College.
5. Manage the Budgeting process including maintaining financial records in accordance with the requirements of the Bursar.
6.Manage overdue books and fines.
7. Assist in determining library policies and procedures along with the Head Librarian, Education Department, Grove City College and other staff members.
8. Maintain an awareness of current library trends and activities through reading the literature and making contact with other librarians
** Also Serve as Co-Advisor to Kappa Delta Pi, An International Honorary for Education Students.
9. Create and deliver reports related to the operations for various departments on campus.

Instructor, Adolescent Literature
Plan and implement a study of literature written for adolescents. This course immerses the participants in a wide variety of current adolescent literature. The course seeks to explore this literature through the study of the different genres and literary components typical of publications marketed to young adults. Through enrolling in this course participants will be able to recognize outstanding adolescent literature, build an awareness of trends in this area, and think broadly about the usage of such literature in classrooms or the broader society.
