He is a very helpful and supportive Professor. Dr. Dickson is the professor who every professor aspire to be. He does not stick to tough codes for grading and teaching but his main focus is to teach his students. It's a known fact around ECE and COE that if you have an opportunity to take one of his classes then take it with him.
