Hill
Chicago, Illinois
Installation artist, educator and project developer with experience in developing temporary exhibits & public programming inspired by archives, which are compelling experiences for museums and cultural centers. I'm interested in telling an American story within my installations, therefore I collaborate with curators, educators, librarians, historians and community organizations to develop projects that reflect a city's history as well as it's contemporary interests.
I am the creator of the Kinship Project, which is a collection of over 4000 African American family photographs with artifacts ranging from 1839 to 2012.

Final Project: Parade to the Post Office
9th grade AP Government students designed postcards as the subject of a social justice writing campaign. Topics include immigration/DACA, Black Lives Matter, gun control, affordable health care, and gender equality.
Curie teachers, students, staff, & community organizers with accompanying marching band & cheerleaders march to the post office to mail over 1100 postcards to local and state politicians to demand action in support for their cause.
