I would take this professor again but in a smaller class size. He's really a fascinating professor and has lots to teach outside of the textbook. However, if you want a normal class experience, take a different professor. He will read direct definitions but then go off on tangents about though-provoking and interesting topics. Just read the textbook and pay attention to the definitions.
