Good
Prof. Barone is an actor who you can find on IMDb but he also plays professor well. He explains everything well and his lectures are so much fun. He is willing to discuss with his students and he is very approachable. He gives you little homework only but tons of practice options if you want extra practice. I would highly recommend taking his class.
Awesome
Professor Barone is a great lecturer and is up front about what you will need to do well on the quizzes and exams. Prepare yourself for some hilarious but cringy math jokes on Fridays. I wish all professors had the same energy and enthusiasm.
Good
Overall, the lectures were entertaining and the tests weren't too bad. I only wish he would have been more specific about what is going to be on the tests and spend the lecture time more efficiently by going over problems and tough concepts. Instead he would go off on tangents.
Awesome
Prof. Barone gives amazing lectures. Many of my friends actually joined our class just to listen to his lectures. He's very understanding of his students as well. You will do fine as long as you go to class and do homework. I would really recommend taking him.
Awesome
Professor Sal was just wonderful, pretty funny guy who treated his students like people. Really easy to approach and good at explaining the concepts. The course doesn't have any extra credit and overall it was pretty brutal.
Awesome
Professor Barone is by far my favorite professor at Georgia Tech. I recommend sitting in the front row, staying after class and listening to the other students questions or ask questions yourself, and doing the problems in the book. That way you're almost guaranteed an A. I would study about two hours MWF for Linear.
Good
Prof. Barone's the best. He gives good lectures and he's very helpful in his office hours and even after lectures. He explains things well and he's honestly your best choice for Linear.
