Awful
I dropped Prof. Sally's class twice. I hated every second with her and tutoring session with John will only be your hope. She actually gave us a cheat sheet in one of her exams which wasn't consistent with what we talked about in class. Then, she marked down the students' grades for it. During test reviews, her questions are so complicated that she often gets it wrong in front of everyone. This is just the worst class ever!
Poor
Overall, the class is very doable. Professor Guyton knows a lot about finance, but her lecture style didn't help me learn and she tends to go off on tangents. My advice is to go to tutor John and work through as many practice exams as you can and you should be fine.
Average
Professor Guyton is a sweet lady. She's straightforward and very knowledgeable about the finance world. However, her lectures are hard to follow. She tends to skip topics, and the methods by which she solves her problems were often overcomplicated. The only really difficult part of the exams is the theory questions. I suggest that you access Tutor John and do at least two to three mock exams, and you'll do great.
Good
Students often claimed that Professor Guyton's class was challenging. However to be true, the only formidable aspect was the quizzes, so be prepared for those. To excel in the tests, I recommend completing eight practice exams which I obtained additional ones from Tutor John's review sessions. I managed to secure an A in the course as well. Overall, it's not as daunting as it seems, so don't stress too much about it.
Texas A&M University College Station - Finance
I designed this lecture guide to provide students with partial notes in order to INVOLVE the students in discovering the rest of the material. It works! They are so focused on class that the time flies by! The guide is appreciated by the students because it organizes the material in a very comprehensible way
and the practice problems built into the lectures give them invaluable practice of the concepts. They keep this guide throughout their careers because it is thorough and skill-based.\nIf you have need of a copy
