Awesome
The Instructor is understanding and a full professor. Class is easy. Coding concepts can be confusing. Hard to grasp. If this is your FIRST coding class, don't worry. She's willing to work at a steady pace Ask questions.
Awesome
Do what is giving of Professor Liu and you'll get an good to go with an A+.
Awesome
What you take from this class is immediately linked to what you placed in. You're relatively easy to show up and do the work nets, but you'll need to be careful and take the material to heart to really understand the language. All in all, a pleasant class, and to anyone who needs it, I would recommend it.
Awesome
Really sweet and loving professor. She always tries her best teach the valuable skills of C++ to her students and shows its relevance in the real world. She may be hard to understand sometimes because of her fast pacing, but she genuinely cares about her students and is definitely a great choice for a prof.
Awesome
All you need to do is complete all the tasks and read her very simple PowerPoint slides as well. The teacher has an accent that sometimes makes it difficult for you to comprehend what she is saying. She's a nice teacher besides that.
Good
Attendance is necessary. Fridays are the nights you need to show up on. Always submit things on time.
Good
It's a five-hour Friday night class, so dedication is needed, but she's a excellent teacher. Want to be successful and it demonstrates. Does a lot of job for you in the classroom and provides you ample chance for extra credit so you can easily get a decent grade, but more sophisticated classes build on it so you can study and do the job yourself.
Awesome
She cares about her students and wants them all to pass, but you have to make sure you do the work. Class is simple and solutions are almost always given. I learned a lot about C++ and enjoyed the class.
Awesome
Before I attended this class, I had zero knowledge of C++. Dr. Liu created learning C++ simple and enjoyable. She assigns loads of programming tasks to be done at home but provides you a long time to work on them. It will be a great class to take if you don't procrastinate like me and ask questions.
Awesome
I loved her sense of humor the most. She is really hilarious and honest about her thoughts. Understanding her would mean visualizing her thought process. I highly recommend taking her.
Good
Good class to learn code after a class of introduction because you take what little you know and transform it into real code instead of pretending to be your class of introduction. I've learned more because I've been going over the same ideas and a little more than I knew. But my advice is to learn on your own, don't copy that you don't learn.
Awesome
Make sure you're actually in the class or you're going to miss instructions on how to do a lot of tasks. The class itself is easy to get into, and if you put in the effort and really want to know, you'll learn how to use c++.
Awesome
This professor will provide you with more understanding than you assumed, if you pay attention, she will let you know. Friendly, useful and lots of cookies:)
Awesome
Her class is only once a week so you better be there always to get an A.
Awesome
Professor is very nice.
Awesome
Professor Liu is very polite and the class is pretty simple if you put your effort into it.
Awesome
This class and professor is great, and I would give both a 10. Friday nights were sacrificed seeing as how the class begins at 5pm and ends at 9:30-10pm.
Awesome
She is truly proficient about the subject. She is extremely thinking about her understudy. Best educator at Golden West College. The class comprises heap of schoolwork and classwork however truly reasonable as she causes you half of the work in class. Prescribed.
