Awesome
Prof. Nguyen only uses the textbook for the end of chapter questions. Actually, they're exactly like quiz and exam questions. She explains things very well and she even prints out lecture slides for you. She gives lots of chances for extra credit as well. You just really have to try and put in effort to get a good grade. Everything is just a point system and nothing is weighted.
Poor
Professor Nguyen was a very dry lecturer. I had to actively try not to fall asleep during the two hour lecture. She's inaccessible outside of class too. She relied on her TA's for all student communication. The exams were very hard too. She expects you to memorize lots of formulas which are all so similar. On the other hand, you can tell she's very passionate.
Awful
Ruby Nguyen is the rudest, most stoic, and least empathetic person I've ever had the misfortune to meet during my four years at university. She doesn't give a damn about her students. You should be alright as long as you don't rely on her to care about anything going on in your life outside of her class or your academic well-being.
Awful
Professor Nguyen's coursework exceeds the amount expected for a two-credit class. She was not helpful at all. Basically, she's rude and almost made it impossible to get accommodations. As the last class for my PUBH minor, this was by far the worst class I've had to take. I suggest taking a different class for the minor requirement.
