Awful
Pearlstein lectures are difficult. Tests are with any math class. Her final is unreasonably hard.
Average
Lectures are dis-organized. The tests are more difficult than most of the other instructors. She is very very hard to keep up with. She goes all over the place when she is teaching. I recommend avoiding this instructor.
Poor
Professor Pearlstein exams are mostly multiple choice but students found out that it's not accurate because of the integration skills. Student's found out that going to her class is not really helpful because she's giving basic example problems. I learn't most of the homework from the material. Student feel the exam is difficult because of the multiple choices.
Awful
I regret taking Prof. Pearlstein for calculus 3. It is difficult to self-teach this class and I didn't learn anything from her lectures. Save yourself and don't take her for calc 3.
Good
Her lectures suck, however Quizzes are take home from textbook (read: free 100). She drops one and some HW in case you forget to turn in. If you understand the WebAssign HW and her review, you will do fine on the tests. The questions are extremely similar. It's mostly multiple choice but the multiple choice is relatively easy, and she grades leniently on free response.
