Prof. Davis' class is fine, but I feel like it's still a lot of work for a two-credit class. He gives moderately helpful recitations and pre-lab quizzes with tricky questions, but most post-lab questions are a breeze as long as you read his textbook chapters. Grading will depend on your TA, but for the most part, he's really helpful for learning concepts.
