There were a lot of negative assessments, considering that Jackson was selected as the best English Professor. He has a decidedly foreign taste for humor - almost English or Irish at least you know that he is doing his best. He is decisively a very intelligent thinker, but most of the time, his audience does not understand his humor. He is dedicated to the success of his students and would extend every effort to that purpose. The student body was completely in favor of his efforts and recognized his well meaning and good intentions.

I don't get why anyone likes this professor. Her class was more of philosophy class than an English one. He gets irrelevant every single class. He does not teach at all. I would not suggest taking his class to anyone.
