  Chemistry Lab Director / Instructor

  Taught weekly labs in nonmajor Chemistry (Chem 100 & 105) and General Chemistry (Chem 110 & 120), helped create new labs, graded lab reports, in charge of student workers and the stockroom, responsible for the setup of laboratories, safety officer and nuclear safety representative, purchased chemicals for stockroom, kept a chemical inventory, cleaned up chemical spills, part of departmental and campus-wide committees.

• Arizona Western College

  Professor of Chemistry

  Taught lecture & lab for Fundamental Chemistry (CHM 130) and General Chemistry I (CHM 151). Worked with other instructors of the class to present a similar lecture schedule / goal, prepared and presented lectures on PowerPoint, supervised lab experiments, created new labs, graded all classwork, utilized the Sapling Learning homework system.

• Portland Community College

  Chemistry Instructor (Part-Time, with assignment rights)

  Taught class & lab for nonmajor organic and biochemistry (CH 102), General Chemistry for Health Sciences (CH104, 105, & 106), lecture and lab for General Chemistry for Majors (CH 221 & 222), & lecture and lab for Fundamentals of Chemistry (CH 100) at both Sylvania and Rock Creek campuses. Worked with other instructors of the class to present a similar lecture schedule / goal, prepared and presented lectures on PowerPoint, supervised lab experiments, created worksheets for recitation, graded all classwork, utilized Pearson’s Mastering Chemistry homework system.

• Clark College

  Adjunct / Affiliate Chemistry Instructor

  Supervised open chemistry lab (Chem 151 / 152 / 153). Assisted lab students in their experiments, graded prelabs, ensured safety rules were followed. Taught Intro to Chemistry: Pre-Health (Chem 121) lecture and lab and lecture for General Chemistry (Chem 141) and General Chemistry Prep (Chem 139). Worked with other instructors of the class to present a similar lecture schedule / goal, prepared and presented lectures on PowerPoint / Word, supervised lab experiments, created worksheets for conference, graded all classwork, utilized McGraw-Hill’s Connect and Sapling Learning’s homework systems.
