Avoid this class if you can. He is very monotone. He knows his stuff but he doesn't know how to teach the material. Do not take this class if you aren't required to.

Obviously, Professor Friedfeld no longer cares about teaching for the sake of his students. Rather, he just teaches enough to get through every class. He reads from a slideshow and only covers the topics in the textbook. Lots of students around me had a hard time in that class, because he didn't teach. If you want to learn in his class, you have to teach yourself everything.

Professor Friedfeld's lectures were very slow and boring. It sometimes confusing too. His exams were a bit difficult. I made a B on every test, even if I studied a lot. Also, he gave a lot of online assignments that weren't relevant to what we learned in class. He was available to help and answer questions during the class if needed though.
