This class material is difficult. Dr. Difabio will help you if you are stuck. He gives points as long as you go to class. He will collect your homework and give you a participation grade if you have an average of 80% or more. He wants his students to do well in class. He uses a different grading scale than other Professors.

One of the only good professors of physics here at UL. While he talks fast he's really knowledgeable on the material and he can explain it really well. There are tons of practice problems, and he gives quizzes to make sure we understand the material. Do the homework and practice exams and you should do well. Choose him if you have the option.

Awful

Professor Difabio is unprofessional. He was not respectful of the fact that we had other finals during finals week and assigned a very difficult project. He did not teach so that we could keep up or understand the class. Also, he did not provide timely feedback on emails. He would answer very late, or not at all. Honestly, I can easily get an A with another professor. Overall, I would not recommend his class.

Professor Difabio makes the first half of the semester so easy to understand, that it may feel slow or like high school classes for some. The pace and difficulty increased. However, he does his best to make the material easy to understand. He ensures that the class is consistently engaged by solving and voting in class. I suggest you take his class.
