In my clinical work, I have emphasized implementing culturally competent, evidence-based, practice across a variety of settings. I firmly believe that forming a strong therapeutic relationship with clients and families is the foundation on which clinical work is built. Thus, I use a holistic, strengths based approach to introduce dialectical and cognitive interventions because they are a proven, pragmatic approaches that promote emotional health and wellbeing.
