Professor Zhang uses the lecture to teach you the information in the textbook while also relating it to what's happening in the world. If you take his class, you aren't only signing up for a letter grade but for actual applications as well. I really learned a lot from him and I feel like I was prepared to be a well-informed citizen who makes wiser decisions. Big thanks to you prof zhang!

I took Prof. Zhang's micro in-class/macro online. This class is perfect for busy schedules! He would really prepare you for exams. He has clear notes and his videos are a blessing. His exams are pretty easy esp if you're an average student.

I took Prof. Zhang for micro and macro class. We didn't have homework, just quizzes and exams. Textbook isn't mandatory but it's a much needed tool if you want to get good grades. His notes are easy and his examples are really good. Also, the supplemental videos he gives are really engaging! Honestly one of the best profs at Moorpark! Would highly recommend!

I took Professor Zhang's Economics class for the firs time. I can say that my experience was very good. He has a very simple class rubric that makes it very easy to manage, especially online. I highly recommend his online class.

I took Prof. Zhang's online course. The manner in which the class was conducted was very convenient. You get a quiz or an exam once a week, and you can take it at any moment during the week. There are no tasks to complete. He supplies you with all of the necessary materials for learning. This is an excellent course.

I took both microeconomics and macroeconomics online with Professor Zhang and I'm just glad that they're done. I felt like I kept none of the knowledge and there were absolutely zero challenges, only quizzes, and tests. Absolutely there's no extra credit and no late or make-up work, even if you have a medical excuse. Overall, I didn't like his class.

Professor Zhang's expectations of his students are very clear. So, there's no room for mistakes or excuses. He can get frustrated at times because he tends to cut people off when they ask a question. On the other hand, he's a very good professor who cares. But if you have a concern, I wouldn't recommend him because he will randomly name people.
