Good
I took her for Bio. I cannot complain. She gave us all her slides. She gave us exam study guides.
Good
Prof. Davenport is a good choice for non-majors. She only goes over the basics and makes material understandable. She also gives interesting lectures. She uses tophat questions for attendance and there are only 5 exams. If you show up in class, listen, and study, it’s easy to get an A.
Awesome
Prof. Rachel is one of the nicest profs at TSU! She's very receptive to questions and she makes sure to go over the topics multiple times, so we can really understand. She's very responsive and clear with her expectations as well. Actually, you won't need the book, just her notes.
Awful
Professor Davenport is a good lecturer. Her lessons were well organized. She's a good teacher and looks sweet in class. But in person and via emails, she's rude, condescending and snarky. She will answer your email like she already mentioned it, even if actually she did not. On the other hand, I think Sex and Reproduction is a great class to take. And getting an A for this course is easy.
Awesome
Dr. Davenport is without a doubt the best TXST professor I've ever had. She provides students with numerous opportunities to succeed in her classes. I also took her for a vertebrate physiology class. Using TopHat and group activities, she ensures that you are actively thinking during class (sex&repro). She makes difficult topics interesting and enjoyable to learn!
