The CCRI is a capability based research center with 37 faculty participants from the faculties of Chemistry, Engineering and Medicine working to develop new catalysis science and applications in fine chemicals/pharma, renewable resource conversion, nanostructured catalysts, sustainable energy and biocatalysis.
Professor
My research group pursues catalysis applications for hydrogen storage, biomass conversion to chemicals and fuels, supported molecular catalysts for hydrocarbon transformations and green routes to fluorocarbons. I teach inorganic and organometallic chemistry and catalysis courses.
uOttawa prof
R. Tom worked at Canadian Inorganic Chemists as a uOttawa prof
Guest Scientist
My research group at uOttawa collaborated on three different projects with Chemistry Division personnel at Los Alamos.
