My research is on models
methods and applications of discrete optimization. My current research focuses on applications in network design
bioinformatics
supply chain logistics
mechanism design
and social and information networks. \n\nI study and teach courses related to business analytics
interactive marketing and business networks. I was the architect of the online hybrid MBA program that was rolled out by the Tepper School in the Fall of 2013. \n\nI was formerly Associate Dean for Intellectual Strategy
a combined precursor of the current positions of Senior Associate Dean for Faculty & Research
and Senior associate Dean for Education at the Tepper School of Business during 2005-2008. \n\nI have undertaken consulting assignments related to internet advertising
supply chain logistics and online education
and act as advisor to several startups in these areas.\n\nI was the Carnegie Bosch Professor between 2006 and 2013 and Rohet Tolani Distinguished Professor between 2014 and 2018
both at Carnegie Mellon.
