Professor Racine is great. He was good at making lectures easy to follow. The feedback was detailed, and the assignments that were graded weren't difficult as along as you came to class. Apart from the 2 papers and the 5 response papers, there was a midterm that you could take home as well as a final.

What makes Racine one of the best professors at Fordham is that he is able to be just as interested in the subject as you are, whether you're a total geek about the subject or completely disinterested. He is one of the most clear cut, well structured professors that I have ever taken. Take him!

Professor Racine was easily one of the best teachers I've ever had. He gave incredible feedback. He knew how to gave constructive criticism on essays, without penalizing significantly, just like other Philosophy professors. We did enjoy going to his class. I highly recommend him to every student.

Professor Racine is a real gem! He really cares about his students' performance and he explains all the assignments thoroughly during the lectures. I suggest you take minimal notes during lectures because they're pretty informative. He's also very helpful during lectures!!!

Prof. Racine is a rare find! In class, he gives excellent explanations of the texts and makes participation a breeze. He gives thorough comments on papers and readily available for assistance. We had three papers (with numerous prompts to choose from), as well as a midterm and final to take home. 10/10 would recommend!
