Professor Forest basically gives you everything you need so just meet him halfway. I recommend visiting him during office hours, before a quiz and exams. Reason is, he reviews 95% of the exam with you. He also stresses to learn about yourself, which I think is a valuable idea. He's truly one of the best teachers I've ever had.
