In my opinion Tirey was a great professor. After taking the math for liberal arts I've found that it has been extremely useful. The book was online, and it was also free. Just show up and write what he puts up on the board.

Professor Tirey is very kind, caring, and reachable, he made Math easy, and simple. The best class I took for the semester was his Math for Lib. Arts, and I was my highest grade. Do your assignments, and take notes, anyone who gives negative reviews about him didn't put enough effort into his course. I strongly recommend Professor Tirey, he helped me to enjoy Math.

Professor Tirey was the best. He's incredibly understanding and willing to work with you. He offers many opportunities during office hours and extra help. Also, he responds to emails as quickly as possible. Honestly, he really wants his students to succeed. However, he wants to see effort. He gives amazing exam reviews and prepares you for testing as well. Quizzes were given everyday over the previous class lecture.

Professor Tirey is an excellent prof who makes learning enjoyable. I liked how he took the time to clarify things and answer queries from the students. It was convenient to be able to use an online textbook instead of purchasing one.
