I am a research scientist at a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) at that University of Maryland which recently changed its name from the Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) to the Applied Research Lab for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS).
I have extensive experience conducting applied social science research in support of the DoD, and interfacing with DoD sponsors and stake holders.
I have expertise in the following areas: cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, noninvasive peripheral nerve stimulation, second language acquisition, cognitive aptitude.

Associate Research Scientist
• Lead a multi-disciplinary, multi-institution performer team investigating the impact of noninvasive peripheral nerve stimulation on learning funded by DARPA.
• Lead business development in neurocognitive approaches to improving cognitive performance; coordinate with center leadership to develop and implement strategic planning.

• Administer large scale cognitive training programs designed to improve second language acquisition in student and U.S. Government populations.
• Develop aptitude battery to improve selection of individuals for careers in cyber security.
