The class is fine, and boring material is made interesting. Tests are the most difficult part. The material may seem easy, but the test is very hard.

I totally loved Prof. Harris! Before class starts, he would always play Jimmy Buffett Pandora and it was pretty much a chill class. He makes the class fun even if it is information heavy. To keep you engaged, he always makes jokes and makes sure that you’re paying attention.

He does not do tons, read his points in class and you have to go for clicker quizzes. He is great, if you know his PowerPoint you know his test. Cares his students, wants you to pass, bumped grade by tons of points at end of semester. An amazing professor.

Dr Harris is my favorite professor at University of Alabama. He is funny and willing to help when you ask. Took time to meet with me multiple times outside the class. He will not only help you with the course but he will even give you some life advice. This class has a lot of studying but overall a great professor and has an interesting class.

Average

Prof. Harris talks way too much about fish, but he can sometimes be funny. Be careful about the grading system in his syllabus because it is not the way the class is graded. Overall, he is pretty average and he isn't the worst choice.
