  At the Bronx Hi School of Science I nearly failed in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.I could not bear the prospect of repeating these at any American College.That was what inspired me to apply to Trinity College in Dublin, (2700 miles from home) where the Hon B.A. requirement was just one Subject for 4 years.(No more failure!)I was proud of graduating at the top of my (admittedly small) philosophy class. Because I did so well in philosophy, WU Comp Lit dep't believed I would do well in Literature, and they proved right, praise God!
