Professor D'Agostino loves educated discussions. So, if you're not prepared, he will be disappointed and it will make the class awkward. As an experimental independent filmmaker, his criticism and advice are often vague. It forces you to find the answer yourself, which can be confusing and frustrating sometimes. On the other hand, he has a funny personality and is a good storyteller.

Professor D'Agostino doesn't have a pg on Canvas. So, you have to rely on a piece of paper to know what's going on each week. I had to make reminders for myself just to make sure I had everything done on time. Because he doesn't have a pg, you don't know what your grades are in the class. He's not bad but needs to be seriously caught up with today's technology.

He's a friendly person and a fine teacher. However, I felt disappointed. You need to write notes and turn them in as part of your grade. Also, he sends you emails to make sure you attend class even after you have signed in. He takes a long time to provide your grade and doesn't give clear directions. He can't connect with students who want to do unique things like for example, with video.
