Mr. Beach received a MS from Central Michigan University and a BS in Hospitality Management from Grand Valley State University. He served as an adjunct professor at Wayne County Community College (MI) and Schoolcraft College (MI) teaching courses in Food and Beverage Management, Dining Room Operations & Information Systems. He presents seminars on service skills, employee and organizational development, cooking, food production systems (Organic/GMO/Localvores), and management. He has also served as an administrator and manager in the restaurant industry, bringing his experiences in line positions to his management capabilities. Mr. Beach is a member of and served on the Boards of numerous professional organizations including the Cook County College Teacher's Union Local 1600, Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Educators, the International Foodservice Executives Association, the American Culinary Federation and the National Restaurant Association. Mr. Beach has traveled extensively domestically with additional trips overseas to Japan, England, Korea, Bahrain, Qatar, Czech Republic, Germany, and France.
Mr. Beach's over 25 years with Harper College highlights many years of success. He worked closely with the National Restaurant Association and its Foundation piloting the award winning ProStart Program for secondary schools now used by over 100,000 students. He assisted the Hoffman Estates Sister Cities Commission developing its programs with its Sister City in France. With the Chicago Northwest-Woodfield Convention & Visitors Bureau Mr. Beach assisted with the establishment of the award winning Chefs' Fest & Chicago-Northwest Restaurant Week. Mr. Beach traveled with the United States Navy as Evaluator of Navy food services in 1998 & 2002. He worked with the United States Army in 2011 visiting 12 mess halls. Specialties: Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Operations Analysis, Branding, Marketing, Public Policy concerning food safety.

This is a great suburban golf and country club in Detroit's suburbs with over 500 members. We provided food and beverages for all club events.

This is a very large, world class private self-operated country club where I worked as a night cook, night chef, banquets cook. We hosted the PGA & US Open.
Manager
Maverick's was a 160 seat very busy restaurant in Royal Oak, Michigan. It had recently been refurbished and burned through 5 managers. We took it over and stabilized the business, reestablishing business practices and positive cash flow.
Chairman
As chairman I set policy and assist the organization in strategic planning. I manage a 15 member Board, assist in development of sponsors, members and host the April 15, 2010 conference in Reno.

CMU's off-campus programs were pioneers in off-campus education. I went to school in the Detroit market and 90% of my fellow students were engineering types from the auto industry.
