Helping people is what I have always enjoyed and as a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, I am able to realize this lifelong goal. I love to make a difference in people's lives, improving their healthcare outcomes and managing their chronic health problems. I also enjoy working in the emergency room setting, diagnosing and treating acute health problems and practicing skills like suturing, while counseling and educating those patients about their health. Using evidence based medicine, I am trained to translate research into workable treatments and practice, improving clinical outcomes.
