Teaching Assistant for the CSUMS Program
I worked with a group of juniors and seniors from RPI and University of Texas Pan-Am. They were split into small research groups and each group was assigned a faculty advisor. They spent the semester and a summer session working on current research topics and creating innovative mathematical models. I worked with all of the groups individually and during larger research discussions.

Team Coordinator
Handled all the financial business of the Chem-E-Car team. Created team poster and brochures for the Northeastern Regional Competition. Worked with the companies that donated to the project. Purchased any necessary items. Relayed much of the information for the team members. Doing any other miscellaneous finances and paperwork along the way. All memebers of this team were extremely invaluable and our success would not have been the same without all of them.
Researcher
Working in applied mathematics, along with my group members, I am researching the sexually transmitted infection HPV which is known to cause cervical cancer in some women. We are focusing on Gardasil (a Merck product), the first HPV vaccine to be FDA approved (for women 9-26 years old). The goal of our research is to determine the most effective means of distributing the three-dose vaccine to minimize the number of women who develop cervical cancer.
Our research is supported by RPI and an NSF grant as part of the CSUMS program.
