Professor Thananjeyan's teachings does not give good examples and the lectures are not electronic. He reiterates what the book says so lectures are super boring. He does not ever mention the final throughout the whole semester,. The sample test he provides only has like 20 questions while the final had 60-65. To do well, read the book and TRY to pay attention. You must rely on the book mostly.

I took CIS 6, CIS 27, CIS 36A, CIS36B, under Professor Thananjeyan. He's great. He's a knowledgeable and respected professor. He's one of the best computer science teachers at Berkeley City College.
