Having a track record as a corporate lawyer and company director, and possessing significant expertise in corporate governance, my plan is to make a meaningful contribution - both as an academic and as a seasoned legal professional.
As an academic, my research work and publications are in topical subjects in corporate governance. These include the role and functions of the board, executive pay, director selection and the impact of capital markets and securities regulation. My goal is to apply my skills, equally, in the "real-life" by sharing my expertise with business corporations and contributing to quality governance.
India expertise is an important element in my portfolio. With my experience as a corporate lawyer in Bangalore for several years, I can provide effective guidance on India-related business or issues.
