Prof. Oscar is amazing! He really cares about the students and he gets lectures across! He also gives homework that is pretty easy. You will get an easy A as long as you pay attention in class. He's also available outside of class to help if you have questions.

I took the class of Professor MacEdo, along with MATH 0305 with him, in a minimester Summer 2019. He's fabulous! He's extremely patient and more than willing to try different approaches to explain things. If Math doesn't come easy for you, you have to practice it every day. His exams are very fair too. I'm not a math person, but I absolutely loved his classes.

MacEdo doesn't let you retake any tests, no matter what your grade is for the class.

Great professor! Took Prof. Macedo's course as an online class due to COVID-19 and it was hard at the beginning because it is a fully online course. There are no meetings between the professor and the class to discuss the contents, and the assignments are all through WebAssign. If I have to give you a piece of advice it would be: REACH OUT TO HIM! He will help you and even stay after office hours to help you improve. It is up to you.
