Prof. Samarakoon is an amazing prof. He really cares about his students and he tries his best to elaborate the core concepts. If you work hard on his homework assignments and regularly attend the lectures, it will be an easy A for you. During his office hours, he's also very helpful, so I suggest you visit him since there were only two one-hr sessions per week.

Dr. Sam has taught me more in person than I learned in class, he is really good at one on one, however not so much in the lecture setting. He posts what he writes online, however his handwriting is a bit hard to read and forces you to spend a few more minutes trying to understand than you would like.

Samarakoon was great at presenting the lectures, he also gave a decent amount of assignments for us to gain a more in depth understanding of the concepts.
