Good
His lectures are easy to understand. But he goes through them very fast. Listen before you start taking notes. He really emphasizes that. He gives you points to remember. He is great for fast learners. He will only give 1-2 examples unless someone asks for a repeat. Homework is easy and usually there are only 10 questions. I underestimated test #4.
Awesome
Geller is a great teacher who cares that you get a good grade. I definitely recommend him!
Awesome
Nick Geller is a rare gem. He breaks concepts into small bite size concepts. He will explain concepts until everyone understands. Nick will not rush. Moreover, there are no study guides. He is very clear about what will be on a test and what's expected. Uses ConnectMath (better than MML). There are four tests plus a final. He will replace your lowest test grade if it helps you.
Good
There is a huge difference between online classes and on campus because it is completely based on book. He informs you when the tests are available to take in testing center and gives a list of review concepts. Doesn't assist student that much and leaves them to learn everything from the Pearson book/website.
Good
Amazing math professor. For most people who find math difficult, he explains the concept in a way that the student will be able to understand.
Good
I took my first math class online which is preparatory calculus with Professor Geller. Surprisingly, he made it doable. He was quick in answering questions and grading assignments. Also, he managed the class very well during pandemic. I suggest you read the textbook for your homework and to do well on your exams.
