    PhD

    My PhD included interdisciplinary coursework in Anthropology and Psychology

    including social science and \"hard science\" approaches. My ethnographic dissertation fieldwork included spending three years engaging in research with a primarily homeless and disabled population

    including people in \"recovery\" from homelessness and disability who were running their own mental health services. This work turned into my first book

    Recovery's Edge

    published in 2015 with Vanderbilt University Press.
