He was too in depth when he would explain things considering it was for a introductory engineering class.

Doctor Howell wants to help you succeed and is a really caring professor, but he kind of sucks as a teacher. The way he explains things often makes no sense and it's difficult to follow along with the lessons. There is a lot of homework and you have to study well because the tests are very difficult. He does grade quite generously though.
