McNamara is awesome! Molly can be hysterical in class. She encourages in-class discussion. She is considerate of all opinions. She welcomes diverse viewpoints. You don't need to go to class to pass. If you want an A it is important that you show up.

Professor McNamara is a good teacher and very open to different opinions. Just meet the weekly word requirement and answer the question on the discussion, then you'll get full credit. Also, read the chapters before you take the test. They can be lengthy because there are some extended response questions.

Poor

I've actually had straight As but a C in this class. I studied and got tutored, but I still ended up getting a C. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Professor McNamara doesn't care about her students. You email her and she will be very rude. Her class is very boring as well. And when you ask her to slow down, she doesn't. Unfortunately, her intentions are to see you fail. I suggest do not take her class.

Professor McNamara is cold and very mean. She's very disorganized, ego-driven, and doesn't care to inspire her students to really care about Sociology. Please don't take a course with her. Taking this class with her will just bring you stress even if it's only a prerequisite course. Instead, save your GPA and take this class with any other professor. Honestly, this is the worst decision I've ever made.
