I had Prof. Karim for online class. He gives weekly chapter reading and quizzes, midterm worth 25%, and a final worth 35%. I told him about my situation and he adjusted the final time for me. As long as you act like an adult, he'll treat you like one. Since everything is on the syllabus, don't expect him to care once you forget about something. There is tons of reading in this class.
