There are 4 hour essays and tests. There is a 15-20 page term paper and an individual paper (she supplies questions to answer in 10-15 pages). Class keeps you busy but She is very helpful and She gives great feedback. She wrote the textbook, You use it for ALL assignments, She gives it to you so you don't have to buy anything.

    Dr. Pryor

    an E-Systems (Raytheon) executive

    served as Director of the Center for Excellence

    a partnership between E-Systems and Texas A&M University-Commerce. She assisted TAMU-C in strategic planning and continuous process improvement. In addition

    she consulted

    and built partnerships

    with a variety of organizations including K-12 schools as well as engineering

    manufacturing

    healthcare and service organizations. In 1998

    she spent 50% of her time leading Raytheon’s Six Sigma Initiatives for Greenville and Waco Operations

    both of which are ISO 9001 certified. \n\nFrom 1985 to 1992

    as Director/Manager of Quality/Production/HR

    Dr. Pryor and her team were responsible for design

    implementation

    and operation of the continuous process improvement system for E-Systems

    Greenville Division (Raytheon

    now L-3 Com). This included moving from inspection and detection in E-Systems shops and hangars to prevention of defects by working with people in Engineering

    Production

    and other departments. In addition to managing Greenville’s improvement initiative

    Dr. Pryor functioned as an internal consultant for other divisions of E-Systems. Baselines such as safety

    quality

    and cycle time were improved

    and “non-value-added” activities were eliminated. Costs were dramatically improved to the extent that proposals included significantly lower bids. She also interfaced with E-Systems suppliers

    as well as military and nonmilitary customers

    and assisted them with their continuous improvement efforts.
