I am Assistant Professor at The University of Georgia. I am originally from Houston, TX and grew up fascinated with understanding how financial resources impact organizations. Following this interest, I completed my bachelors of science in business administration and economics at Trinity University and Master in Public Administration (MPA) at The University of Georgia. While working on my MPA, I started researching public finance topics as part of my assistantship and became fascinated with how each public organization’s financial structure make it unique. Those unique differences motivate why investigating how managers use their financial resources to accomplish objects is an exciting and dynamic field of study. My research experience and commitment to teaching make me well-qualified to meet the current and future academic and professional needs of academic institutions.
